The company began as Uniform Appliance Center in the 1960s as a small, single-owner business in Quiapo, Manila, specializing in refrigerators, air conditioners, and parts. In 1981, it was incorporated as Uniform Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Supply, Inc. (URASI), refocusing exclusively on parts for air-conditioning and refrigeration. By the 1990s, URASI had relocated to its current location on Sales St., Quiapo, where it expanded as a leading importer and supplier of original and replacement parts for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
 
Recognizing a gap in aftermarket support for existing brands in the market, URASI partnered with top manufacturers like Dorin and Castel to provide high-quality products with reliable support to the Philippine market.
 
URASI also expanded into the service and installation sectors to offer clients comprehensive, vertically integrated HVAC solutions, delivering both top-tier equipment and dependable service from a single source.
